Dear Parents,

Please note the following:

Green Schools: Congratulations to Mrs E. Brennan and the Green Schools Committee on achieving the Green Flag for ‘Water’. They also achieved first place in the North East for their work and will receive a trophy and prize for their efforts. Well done to all involved. The new Green Schools Committee has been selected for this year, they will work on the theme ‘Travel’. They are:
– Saoirse Mc Mahon – Junior Infants
– Conor Martin – Senior Infants
– Lily Mc Eneaney – 1 st class
– Rían Gilsenan – 2 nd class
– Chloe Kelly – 3 rd class
– Shay Sullivan Burns – 4 th class
– Sorcha Shannon and Maria Farnan – 5 th class
– Cian Kelly and Shane Tully – 6 th class

Parent Teacher phone calls: these will take place the week leading up to the Halloween break.
Friday 15 th afternoon: Mrs Jones students
Monday 18 th afternoon: 5 th & 6 th class students
Tuesday 19 th afternoon: 3 rd & 4 th class students.
Wednesday 20 th afternoon: Junior & Senior Infant students.
Thursday 21 st afternoon: 1 st & 2 nd class student.

Covid Guidelines: In line with government advice, if your child is unwell please
keep them at home. If a Covid positive case is identified in school, close contacts are
no longer required to restrict their movements. Thank you for your co-operation.

Halloween holidays: Begin on Friday 22 nd October for 1 week. Full school day.
