Third Green Flag for Drumgossatt NS

On Thursday 18th November 2021, the staff and pupils of Drumgossatt raised their 3rd green flag; this flag was in achievement for their work in the area of water conservation. Drumgossatt NS was also the North/ West regional winners in this category! They received €750 in prize money and a trophy for this award.

A huge thank you to Mrs Elizabeth Brennan, who is the Green Schools co-ordinator in the school and to her committee who worked so hard in order to achieve this flag.

The event was attended by Sharon Finnegan, Environmental Officer with Monaghan County Council who guided the committee with their work. Well done to everyone involved and we are looking forward to working on our next flag for travel.
